Birth Certificate Attestation in Dubai

Independent-service notice: BirthCertificates.ai is not a UAE government authority. Government fees, eligibility, processing and approvals remain controlled by the relevant authority. Confirm current requirements on the official links before applying.

First identify where the certificate was issued

An attestation route for a UAE-issued digital certificate is not the same as the route for a certificate issued in another country. The intended destination and accepting organization can also affect the required chain.

UAE-issued documents

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides document attestation through its digital and courier channels. Eligible UAE-issued digital documents with a QR code, reference number or barcode may qualify for a digital route. Review the current MoFA services directory and select Documents Attestation.

Foreign-issued documents

Foreign documents may require steps in the issuing country before they can be accepted for UAE attestation. The sequence can involve the issuing-country authority and a UAE mission, followed by MoFA in the UAE. The exact route is country-specific; do not assume one checklist applies to every certificate.

Before requesting assistance

  • Confirm the issuing country and issuing authority.
  • Confirm where the certificate will be used.
  • Check whether the document is original digital, paper, laminated or already stamped.
  • Check whether Arabic or English translation is required by the receiving organization.

Fees and timing

Government fees and completion estimates can change and depend on the route. They are disclosed separately from any BirthCertificates.ai service fee. Use the official MoFA service card at the time of application.

What we can and cannot do

We can help map the route, check document readiness and coordinate approved submission steps. We cannot verify authenticity ourselves, issue an attestation, override an embassy or ministry requirement, or guarantee processing.
